VINYL STICKERS:
Yep, we print band stickers now! Be the first on your block to get them! High quality, very stickey & permanent vinyl stickers- suitable for outdoor use & perfect for bumperstickers, decorating your skateboard or bicycle or just getting your band name around town in a very physical sense!

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF TRADITIONALLY SCREENPRINTED VINYL STICKERS OVER DIGITALLY PRINTED STICKERS?
For examples of some of the benefits of going digital, see DIGITALLY PRINTED below. Hand-printed stickers generally look bolder, more "hand-printed" and simpler and, yes, the artwork is more limited as super-fine details are not allowable up to a point when pressing ink through a screen mesh onto vinyl.. However, traditionally hand-printed sticker vinyl is still more durable and the ink lasts longer in extreme outdoor situations (such as stickers specifically printed to go onto a bicycle or onto the bottom of a skateboard.) But sticker-enthusiasts will attest that the ink-life of any vinyl outdoor sticker usually falls short of the actual life of the vinyl as scrapes, scratches and the test of time (and sunlight) usually dull and nullify the image quality long before the sticker.
Basically, it comes down to what you want to do with your sticker run... if you are promoting your website or band or business and many of your stickers will end up on envelopes, sent out as promos or on the side of someone's stereo or refridgerator, then digital is more than sufficient and allows you to show off your design in all of the colour, all of the high-definition and with less of the restrictions of hand-printed silkscreen printing. However, digital comes with a cost and expect your per unit price to be higher than those listed under HAND-PRINTED STICKERS.

DIGITALLY PRINTED
The newest and highest quality version of sticker-printing! The benefits of digital sticker printing are MANY... first and foremost is the unlimited choice of colours (full CMYK available) and the HIGH DEFINITION of imagery allowable. Virtually high-resolution prints are now attainable without any of the "printed" look of traditionally screenprinted stickers. There are no restrictions (or extra charges) for more than one colour or design. There are also less size restrictions and finer detailed artwork does NOT have to be simplified or half-toned to come out with the perfect results. Costs vary so contact me by email for a quote.

HAND-PRINTED STICKERS
On outdoor quality vinyl

My standard printed vinyl sheet is
250mm X 350mm (a little bigger than A4)
You could divide the sheet any way you wanted (within reason,) but let's say that we've divided the page into 8 rectangular stickers to compare prices for a single colour print run on white vinyl:
________________________________________________________
A SMALL RUN (minimum 25 sheets!):
A 250mm X 350mm page is £1.50 (or 18p each if divided into 8 stickers)
ORDER 100 PAGES:
A 250mm X 350mm page is £1.40 (or 17.5p each if divided into 8 stickers)
£140 for 800 stickers!
ORDER 125 PAGES:
A 250mm X 350mm page is £1.30 (or 16.25p each if divided into 8 stickers)
£162.50 for 1000 stickers!
ORDER 250 PAGES:
A 250mm X 350mm page is £1.20 (or approx 15p each if divided into 8 stickers)
£300 for 2000 stickers!
________________________________________________________

For each additional colour add .50p to the sheet price.
As noted, you can divide your sheets into any sized boxes or strips you wish. Here are some examples:
115 X 82.5mm (rectangle) = 8 per sheet
115 X 66mm (small rectangle) = 10 per sheet
165 X 46mm (small "bumper sticker") = 10 per sheet
165 X 38 (smaller "bumper sticker") = 12 per sheet
230 X 55 (large "bumpersticker") = 6 per sheet
230 X 47 (thinner large "bumpersticker") = 7 per sheet
Confused? Click HERE for a visual example of what sizes fit onto 1 sheet of vinyl. This image is the exact size of the vinyl sheet and can be used as an aid for you to organise your order. But beware, it is only 72dpi and just for displaying on-screen.

If including more than one design per sheet, ensure the quality and basic nature of the lines and filled spaces are similar and compatible for screenprinting. Ask if you're not sure!

SCREEN SET-UP CHARGE:
For every design (and each colour in a design) there is a set up charge of £12 to pay for the costs of putting your image on a screen. If you want to change your design or have a new one printed, then the fee will be incurred. Each additional colour in a design needs to use another screen, so the charge is per colour as well. This fee applies each time you have your design printed unless you "BUY" your screen.

"BUYING" A SCREEN:
If you know that you will be re-printing the exact same design (at the same size) in the future, it may make sense to "BUY" your screen for £30. This gives you exclusive use of a screen dedicated to your specific design... We often reclaim screens to use again for other clients and then have to re-expose artwork back onto it... this takes time. Buying your own screen guarantees a quicker turn-around time for your orders using the screen because no screen preparation is necessary.

Why the quotes around "buy"? Because all screens remain the exclusive property of Monkey-Wrench Graphix and M. Minnick and if a client who has "bought" a screen does not use the screen for a 15 month period the screen is reclaimed for general use in the workshop. Any further printing of the same design after a 15 month lapse would incur a screen set-up charge again.
